My appointment was just a follow-up. He listed to my concerns and addressed them promptly. I rarely have any problems with his office!! I have recommended his office to several friends. They are very happy with him also.

Dr. Hardy is one of the most attentive, caring, compassionate doctors I? have met. I? have about 25 doctors so feel I? am a good one to give an opinion. He never rushes you. He is very thorough! He puts you at ease even if you go in a nervous wreck. The wait time has never been long and I? have been going to him many years. I? would highly recommend him! And this site keeps putting ! Points not me.

Although I would like for the time I wait (15-20 minutes after scheduled appointment) to be shorter, it is certainly less time than I usually wait for my primary care provider. He is always courtesy and shows true concern about my medical condition. He really listens and I never feel rushed.

I was referred to Dr. Hardy by another physician who believed that I had nerve damage. I sent all of my records ahead of the appointment, and then met with him for about 15 minutes. During that time, he told me that my various symptoms might be due to "changing hormones." I had to ask for the tests my other physicians requested. Initial tests came back negative, but additional tests came back positive. Exactly what my other physicians expected. One visit & done! I've moved on to a new doctor

Referred to Dr. Hardy for double vision and dizziness. He did not even review CD of ct scan. Or the information I had filled out or my chart account. I had to bring to his attention that I had prior heart surgery and lung disease of which he ignored. He examined me and then said I needed to see ENT. Ordered an MRI and blood work and said I did not need to see him again. I took a day of of work for this visit. Waist of time and money to throw me off to another doctor.

Business response:

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for your experience, as our goal at Neurological Associates is to provide you with the best care possible. Feedback has been shared with management. If you would like to speak to them further, please feel free to call 804-288-2742 at your convenience.

Dr. Hardy is a compassionate and dedicated professional. He listened carefully to my history and complaints, did a thorough exam, ordered appropriate images and medications and gave me a referral to a great neurosurgeon. He stayed in communication with the neurosurgeon and advocated for me to ensure the best possible outcome. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend him to a friend.

I was appalled by lack of compassion, care or any sign of kindness. He laughed to my face multiple times, doubted everything I said and wouldn't let me finish a sentence before changing the subject. He gave me pills after I had already told him how much I hated taking them because they never worked. He was the most rude doctor I had ever had the horrible experience of meeting. He told me he had no idea why my arms and legs would tingle and go numb, and showed no interest in finding out.
