I had a thoroughly disappointing experience at NYU Dermatology (222 E 41st St, Floor 24) with Dr. Daniel Gutierrez. I visited for treatment of two warts—one on my elbow and another below my left knee. Instead of providing a proper diagnosis or treatment, Dr. Gutierrez dismissed my concerns, suggesting that the warts were likely caused by age. I saw Dr. Gutierrez last week. He is very professional and nice, he explained my conditions to me clearly and keep asking me if I have any questions.
i went to this dermatoligist because i had a skin problem that made me feel embarased. the doctor was really nice and explained what was wrong with my skin. they gave me somthing to help and it worked fast. in a few dayse my skin looked so much batter. i was so happy when it cleared up! now i feel good about how i look and i very thankfull to him. i will send my frends to this doc
I came to this doctor with my skin loosing pigment and burning sensations on my face after a severe drug reaction. He told me it’s not possible and sent me out the door. After severe suffering I ended up in urgent care / ER next day where they were able to give me steroids to stop my reaction.
Do not go here just based on how difficult it is for them to accommodate you. The staffing is unremorseful and not helpful. If you can’t go last minute due to their impossible hours, they will charge you. When asked to speak to the dermatologist prior to being charged (because my visit is not covered by my insurance) The office manager replied to me - he will decide if he will call you back. As a clinician myself, I have never treated a patient like that and I’m willing to answer anyone’s questions via email or phone call.
