It’s been a year this month that I had my ankle surgery. I am so grateful for the skill, compassion and care that Dr. Gus provided me. For quite a few years I had pain almost on a daily basis in my ankle. My golden retriever missed our walks. After careful consideration and other types of treatment I decided to go to surgery. Waited 2 hours for a 5 minute visit, just to be told to try things I've already tried that don't help. Didn't seem like he had any actual desire to help people beyond surgery.
Dr Guss is an outstanding physician and surgeon. He also ha a terrific support team. From my personal experience it is obvious that he puts his patient’s welfare first. During my hospital stay both nurses and orthopedic surgeons in training spontaneously praised his skills when they found out that he was my doctor. I feel fortunate to have him as my foot and ankle specialist.
Dr. Guss is hands down the best orthopedic doctor I have ever seen. His professionalism, ability to answer questions thoroughly, patient care and most importantly his skill as a surgeon is second to none. He saved my foot, I have no doubt. I can walk again and thank him daily as I am able to walk normally again after my severe lis franc fracture.
