I understand that doctors have incredibly demanding schedules and that being paged at 1am as the doc on call doesn't improve an already exhausting work week. That being said, when a concerned patient calls about alarming symptoms and is in a vulnerable position, it is not ok to have a snooty, condescending attitude towards that person. A little patience and humility would do you good, but then...I'm no doctor.
