I had a x-country ski accident about 20 years ago. Torn rotator cuff and other stuff. They called it the “Blue Plate Special.” All I know is Dr. Buss’ reputation is so outstanding that when I went to the physical therapist after surgery and told her that Dr. Buss performed the surgery, her eyes got saucer-size big and she said, Wow! A bad fall had this 60-year old in trouble...had traumatic complete tear of rotator cuff. Dr. Buss changed appointments to perform my surgery. He took me through each step in the process, explained ramifications of my actions, and connected me with a leading physical therapist immediately following surgery. The healthcare system has failed each and everyone one of us. If it hasn't yet — it will. It's not a fault of the people who work there. I have maxed out my deductible and they have not done 1 thing to help with my pain. I'm sure Dr. Buss is a fantastic surgeon. I guess I'll never know.
Dr Buss fixed both of my husbands shoulders, better results than ever expected. I work in healthcare, Dr Buss is the go to Dr. for shoulders for all staff. I know a physician that had an injury in Taos skiing, he flew home to have Dr. Buss do his surgery.
