Dr. Schiavone was a wonderful pediatrician while we lived nearby. Upon release from the hospital NICU, Dr. Schiavone was one of the only doctors willing to take on our child with her most recent history (micropreemie that was still on oxygen, etc). He willingly offered for our family to come in for appointments during lunch breaks to limit exposure to germs for the first several months. He was always very knowledgeable and kind- and made us feel that no question was too dumb to ask!
Both of my children have been seeing Dr. Schiavone since they were newborns. He has great bedside manner and speaks with/to them (they are currently 5 and 3). As a mom I appreciate how accessible Dr. Schiavone is - I have used the after hours line a few times and always get a prompt call back to discuss whatever is of concern, and never have I been made to feel like I was anything less than welcome to the doctor's time. We never feel rushed at appointments (even when I was running late).
Dr Schiavone is an Exceptional Doctor and his staff is Awesome ! His experience and knowledge is invaluable, especially when there is something serious going on. I have been with his practice for over 10 years, I love that he is focused and knowledgeable on the whole picture and physical health. Also he is very open and spends a lot of time with you, explains everything in great detail, and never in a rush. He also personally always goes Above and Beyond, I Highly Recommend him. The Best Dr
Told my persistence "irked" him when I asked that he speak to me about having kicked all 4 kids out of practice. I have never even met him.
