In October 2025, I couldn't walk a a quarter mile due to severe bone on bone pain. I met with Dr. Mascarenhas and he explained everything that was happening in the joint and suggested partial knee replacement. I had the surgery mid December. Recovery has been great. It's now mid March and yesterday I walked about 6.5 miles around Boston with very minor discomfort. Thank you so much Dr. Mascarenhas and Boston Orthopedics!
From start to finish, my wife's knee surgery was very good. Everything was done right, the Care she received excellent and if she had questions they answered right away. Really good service!
I had my left hip replaced in 10/15/25. Dr.Mascarenhas was great. He explained everything from beginning to end. Came to see me before the surgery. After the surgery, everyone was great and when I got to my room, the nurses were unbelievable. My last appointment included X-rays which he confirmed everything was good. Still in PT, I am getting stronger but it’s taking longer than I expected. My legs get very weak, working with my PT therapist to get my legs stronger. But Dr. Mascarenhas was wonderful. Thank you
