Dr Burkett was fantastic. Very attentive and explained everything about my surgery. He truly cares about his patients and makes sure he gets the results he's looking for. I can't thank him enough for the work he's done to get me relief from my back issue.
Doctor Burkett is a very personable. He takes time to listen to you about your problems.He Is concerned and explains all the treatments.

I had the privilege to meet Dr. Daniel J. Burnett, a neurosurgeon at St Mary's Hospital May 13, 2026 for my surgery consultation. He was a soft spoken humble person that I immediately had respect for with great confidence. He reviewed my MRI and seriously asked one major question, "where is your pain?" I answered, "my entire left side". He understood and pointed out the synovial cyst located at L4-5 that was causing the nerve pain. He suggested that it be removed.
