The idea of someone coming at my eye with a sharp object while awake was anxiety provoking. I can not believe what a wonderful experience it was. They said they would put me to sleep for 10 min to numb the eye, then wake me up. I meditated & was seeing images of white light when I heard them call me. Even then, I only felt an instrument touching my lower lid and saw nothing in the room. When they said it was done, I was amazed how quickly it seemed to go. I Felt very rushed AND HE HURT ME. HE IS ALSO VERY RUDE.
Thanks so much to the wonderful and professional staff at NJRetina in Toms River. I was extremely nervous when I went for my first visit, but everyone there was so kind and put me at ease. They clearly explained every part of the eye examination and were considerate of my feelings. Thank you Dr. Roth and the entire staff for making a a difficult situation less stressful.
