Went in for preventative visit and ended up with a bill for over $300 with insurance because, they over billed and stated items that were not even true on the bill. Some how the visit went from preventative to diagnostic and charmed me for a follow up about the blood work as well. Great doctor but seems dignity is just in it for the money at this office.
Dr Hoag has helped me get my health back on the right track, I hadn’t been taking care of myself for a long time & it caught up with me in a number of ways, Dr Hoag actually cares, he listens & his staff is always friendly, always helpful, exactly what I needed for a PCP.
We have been Dr. Hoag's patients for almost thirteen years and have always been very happy with him. He had a calm approach, was quite thorough, and was simply a great doctor. Unfortunately, the office staff and his treatment of his patients have changed since he allowed Dignity Health to take over his practice. Great doctor and staff once past the worse front office with the worse follow up.
Could not get the in-network discount applied to the overcharged bill and then billing refused to remove the insurance on file to change the account to cash pay to make the bill more reasonable. If $650 for 15 minutes with the doctor just to get a routine blood work order sounds like a good deal to you, this is the place!
