I couldn't imagine a smoother process or a better outcome for my hip replacement than that delivered by Dr. Chan and his team. Start to finish I felt well taken care of.
Dr. Daniel Chan is an excellent doctor and surgeon. Not only have I had virtually zero pain since my right hip replacement, my recovery exceeded even my own expectations. I was up and around immediately and driving my car after three weeks. Plus Dr. Chan is always in an upbeat mood and willing to answer any and all questions. Plus his staff was very helpful, with special thanks to Yamile Saker for her knowledge and patience. My experience was wonderful and if I could rate it higher than five stars, I definitely would.
Ten years ago I had a hip replacement in NYC by the "best of the best". My recovery was horrific. Three days in hospital. Agonizing pain, black and blue from armpit to ankle. Torturous recovery that took months and lots of Narcotics. I put off my other hip for years, fearing another hellish experience. then I found Dr. Chan. I walked out same day! What a great experience. I recently had a total left hip replacement by Dr. Chan. From the initial phone conversation with his staff and subsequent appointment everyone was absolutely fantastic. Dr. Chan took the time to explain what the issue was and how it would be corrected. After that he expalinedwhat I should be doing leading up to the surgery to get stronger and the iimportance of a good rehab program.
