Dr. Albertus was wonderful! I was a bit skeptical about having cataract surgery on both eyes at the same time, but I’m so glad I did! I can see without glasses or contacts for the first time in almost 30 years! And Dr. Albertus and his team were fantastic, thank you 😊 again!
I chose Dr. Albertus for my bilateral cataract surgery based on the positive patient reviews, and his posted profile. He was very thorough in explaining the procedures to me and making sure I understood pre-/during/post surgery details, asking me several times if I had any questions or concerns. I personally did not enjoy my experience with Dr. Albertus. I found him to be a disappointing doctor and an even worse chief. It kind of feels like Kaiser requires their chiefs to hate patients. He seemed to cherry pick information and really didn’t seem to care whether or not I got help. I personally don’t understand being told to just go to the ER instead of approving a referral for follow up care. Makes little sense that Kaiser would rather pay thousands of dollars instead of the $250 for me to see the specialist. Trying ... read more
Dr. Albertus leads a caring team in the office and surgical area. I have had two excellent surgical experiences along with consistently positive follow-up care. I highly recommend Dr. Albertus.
