I found Dr. Daniel Hidaka through the Northwestern network and have remained a patient for approximately 8-years. Upon my first appointment with Dr. Hidaka, I was immediately impressed by his “care factor.” I am a busy professional in the service industry, so naturally I have high expectations from professionals I choose. I was saddened to see Dr Hidaka move to a concierge medical service, requiring an annual fee. He is an excellent Dr, but given my modest medical needs it is unlikely for me to pay an annual fee just to get access to him. So sorry
Dr. Hidaka, is one of the most thorough physicians I've met. More than symptoms, he looks for their cause and correlates potential dynamics of your medical history that may be associated with your problem. He allows you the time to comprehend his feedback and encourages your questions. His suggested protocols include lifestyle, nutrition and prescriptive paths.

Dr. Hidaka is a GREAT doctor and I've been seeing him for the last 8 years.. He really listens, never rushes you out of an appointment, will fit you in if you're in an emergency situation, and is super well informed. As someone with a lot of medical issues/lack of faith in doctors I trust him and respect him implicitly. Highly, highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Hidaka after learning my former PCP would no longer be covered under my insurance plan. What a gift. I found Dr. Hidaka to be an excellent internist on my initial visit. He connected with me, asked all the right questions and, most importantly, made me feel that I was working with someone who wanted to be my partner as it relates to my health. He has my respect.
Dr. Hidaka is a fantastic doctor, he actually cares about his patients and takes the time with us to help, explain and help guide you along your medical roads where ever they may lead. I will never go to another doctor again, he is the doctor to stay with for his entire career!
