The time had finally come for me to shop for a new sofa and chair set. So after 13 years of wear, my previous sectional prompted me to accept its resignation. I’ve been shopping at Dania Furniture for years but after the Orland location closed I had been ordering on line but an item I wanted was not in stock so I called the Northbrook location and was greeted by a wonderful lady identifying herself as Andra. She worked with me in such a professional way that truly impressed me. She was very knowledgeable and guided me along the way so I was able to get what I wanted. My recent experience with Dania was fantastic from start to finish. Grace provided the perfect amount of assistance while we were shopping for new artwork for our family room and a new sofa, chairs and area rug for our living room. When we learned that an area rug we like was discontinued from the manufacturer and Dania stock was limited to the floor sample, she even went the extra mile to locate another retailer that still had the rug in stock. My husband and I had a very frustrating experience with Marcello, the manager in the pickup area. Instead of providing helpful service, he was dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than addressing our concerns with courtesy and efficiency, he made the process more difficult with his rude attitude and lack of willingness to assist. Customer service, especially in a pickup area, should be smooth and hassle-free, but Marcello’s behavior made it anything but.
