Not someone I would use As was ai bridesmaid in a wedding that Dani photographed. While the end product was nice, I found Dani herself to be disheveled looking, definitely not dressed appropriately for a wedding, and her attitude to be pushy and rude, while using inappropriate language in a church! Exactly what we wanted "We used Dani for our August 2008 wedding and were very happy. She got all the shots I asked for. She wrangled 3 families for the formal shots and got lots of great formal shots of the 2 of us all in the single hour we had on the boat. We took shots of the bridal party at gasworks before being able to get on the boat and loved those too. She choose some great locations and set ups there. Dani Weiss gave us what we wanted, twice We had a wedding as well as a family shoot. Dani was ready to go for the entire wedding day, was courteous and fun, and had our photos ready within a week and a half - completely what she promised. The family shoot was done on short notice and we were delivered a CD with quality prints within 2 days. Both packages were great values. We are not a hard-to-please family, but we do realize when we get good customer service, pricing, and quality, all in the same package.
Do not use her!!! We had Dani shoot our wedding & we learned that there was a reason she was available on short notice! She was awful. We paid her about $4,000 for pictures my eight year old could have done with the family camera. She didn't stage anything, there was no thought involved in her photos. She was rude to the wedding guests, complained she couldn't stay until the cake was cut & always "reminded" us to bring our checkbook when we spoke to her. She was almost worthless. She caught some great moments! I used Dani Weiss for both my wedding and my baby girl's newborn photos. My husband and I were new to Seattle and Dani clicked with us right away. When we met she spent a good deal of time with us reviewing our location, it was outdoors on a beach, she was willing to go wherever, and had good ideas for back up photo opportunities in case the Seattle weather didn't comply, lucky for us all went well. Dani did a great job! Dani shot my wedding in August, and our engagement pictures in June. I just picked up our wedding album at the beginning of January. I am so happy with the pictures. My husband is not comfortable with getting his photo taken, so she had to work hard with us for the engagement photos. Entirely pleased with Dani My partner and I did a lot of research and deliberated thoroughly before hiring a photographer for our July 2008 wedding. We were looking for someone who would take excellent photos to tell the story of the day, but it was equally important to us that we find someone with whom we were comfortable, someone who would not be at all squeamish about two men walking down the aisle. This is a wonderful business! I take a lot of pride in the way I run my business and have for he last 20 years. I have never heard any complaints from clients, nor did the below client ever come directly to me. I contacted this website but never heard back from them, so I thought it would be helpful to post my rebuttal.
Happy bride I cannot speak to whatever might have happened with Anonymous' (the bride?) and her situation, but Dani shot the photos for my wedding last January, and we had a fabulous experience with her. She was professional, courteous, and and artist. Her photos were exactly what we had hoped for, and more. Although I couldn't imagine that I would need to have the shots professionally printed after I received my proofs and the disk of photos, I was thrilled that I had pre-ordered them, and I actually asked to get more.
