Delightful Thai Dining Experience – What a surprise we found when we recently visited Dang's in Lake Oswego. We ordered 2 entrees, both of which were delcious. Our general experience with menu items in many Thai restaurants is that they tend to be monotonous--one basic flavor regardless of which item you order. Good food, good waiters We enjoyed our dinner there. the price was not to high and the food was very Thai and very tasty. i would recommend it to anyone on a budget. You don't have to have everything hot. they have medium and mild as well
Fantastic Food! – So I consider myself a Thai food junkie and this place definitely is at the top of my list - and believe me, I've been to a lot of places. Good food but disappointing service – The two times that I have been to Dang's the food has been fresh, very tasty and nicely presented. Unfortunately the service on my second visit to Dang's was horrible. The staff was pleasant enough, but once our server took our order we never heard from him again. We had ordered an appetizer and four entrees. After our appetizer, the first entree came but was the only thing on the table for 10 minutes when finally two more of our entrees appeared. Avoid this restaurant! – The atmosphere is nice, but the food is not that great! Overpriced and tons of MSG. I've been to much better thai restaurants, and pay a lot less. I don't know how this restaurant survives in Lake Oswego. We want quality! I would definitely NOT go here again.
Something different in a sea of "thai" resturants – I'm constantly discouraged by the McThai Pad Thai resturants here and the sheep who flock to them ordering pad thai every stinking time. Dang's is different. Most thai resturants, if they have thai people working there at all, are all from bangkok. Most of Dang's are from the north, giving you not only the pad thai standby if you must - but some dishes you cannot find elsewhere. Ask for northern recommendations - and dont be afraid. Absolutely the best Thai restaurant in the Portland area – Best Thai restaurant I have ever found! They are fast, friendly, extremely clean, and offer plenty of different selections. Every time I go (at least once a week) I try something different and have never been disappointed. The veggies are fresh, the fish is moist, the chicken is lean, and the service is amazing. I highly recommend the Thai ice tea, Pad Thai, Chicken with Yellow Curry, Stuffed Calamari, and Salad Rolls with Shrimp.
Amazing food and great to go service – When I called in to go the server answering the call was fast and very helpful. He told me just what I need to know and he gave me great suggestions on food. He suggested the Pad Thai noodles and they were divine. When I walked in to pick my order the ambiance was great and the cashier was really nice.
