I saw Dr. DeSandies a couple of times at CAPS at Stanford. Out of all the mental health professionals I have seen over the years, he was probably the easiest to talk to. He was not trying to project an "empty screen," he did not just reflect my words back to me like a mirror, and he did not insist on a rigid worksheet-style CBT session.
