Wow had the Special Squash Pie and the creamy apple cider dressing on a house salad and both were incredible! Great Southern flavor, super fresh salad and yummy sweet tea. My order was to-go and came out quickly. I appreciated the mission and the no-tip policy that included living wages for their staff. I would love to visit again and I would especially love it if they released a cookbook with their recipes :)
They make a really good tomato pie and the chicken in the wrap was so flavorful!
What a terrific Hendersonville treasure, both for its excellent food and its much-needed mission! The best Shrimp n Grits I've had in a very long time. Quality service, and excellent staff. I definitely recommend this place
Update: They no longer serve breakfast unless you reserve for a private group. I miss the Grits bowl. Love their grits bowls! You can add scallions, mushrooms, cheese, meat, or anything and top with eggs. Lunch choices are unique. There are many vegetarian options including a few homemade veggie burgers to choose from.
