I’ve never had anyone make me feel as uncomfortable and judged as Allison Dancer. Anything I told her about my life was like the most insane thing she’d ever heard. If I wanted to talk about my loved ones (significant other, parent, friends) she would talk so bad about them I felt like she wanted me to hate them. The best feedback I got from her was “Mmm…..” I have never been to another therapist/psychiatrist since and probably won’t. I saw this "doctor" back in 2011-2012. I saw her under my maiden name at the time. I won't quit leaving reviews as long as I know she's still practicing. She is judgemental. Didn't make me feel like i had a safe place with her. She was more of a disappointed mother in her attitude towards me. She was seeing myself, my mom, and my grandmother at the same time. Awful human being. She will talk down, does not like working with other DR. or writing meds even if it means a patient will be admitted again.

I first met and received counseling from Dr. Alison Dancer in the early 2000s. She helped me mentally process some very life-changing circumstances. Here I am 20’ish years later seeking her help for devastating family health issues.., I’m so thankful for her.
