Overpaid for the vehicle. They bait you with a low price then they throw whatever fees they can and drive up the price back up. Chairs are uncomfortable, showroom was very hot, the drinks aren't cold. Was at the dealership for 7 hours very slow process. Buyer beware. They screwed us we payed way too much.

I was totally disrespected last night when I was at this location. My sales person who I was talking to was amazing, and then his manager, who was the most unprofessional person that I ever met. I was referred here by one of the owners brothers, and I did purchase a car here years ago with no problems. and this is how I was treated. Danbury Hyundai Oct 28, 2022 Noe.Tellusom Pulled a bait & switch scam on us. Contacted them to buy a Santa Cruz SEL AWD Crew Cab Pickup for $31,245, as listed on their website. They confirmed that they had it in stock, assured us they didn't need a deposit, they'd hold it for us. So we drove HOURS down to our credit union and we're about to leave to the dealership and suddenly NOPE, it SOLD. But they have the PREMIUM for +$10k MORE. Won't discus any deal via phone. *BUYER BEWARE* I went there to see a used car that was on their website, when I got there the car was not there, someone took it to run 'errands'. I knew I wanted this car and asked Ernesto if I could put a deposit down to hold the car for me for when it returns contingent on a test drive. BEWARE of this dealership! I just purchased a CERTIFIED pre owned Tucson in May of this year & have been left stranded on the side of the road 3 times in 4 months! They never have any loaners to offer which means I can’t make it to work, and my son can’t make it to school. It is completely unacceptable! My mother who is 88 years old leased a Hyundai. She liked the car and wanted to purchase it at the end of her lease. Danbury Hyundai told her she would have to take out a 72 month! loan and pay the first 3 payments then pay off her loan in one lump sum. The original pay off amount was about 14,000.00 and the loan is now about 24,000.00. I found out through Hyundai finance that in the state of CT, she is able to pay Hyundai finance directly without going through the STINKING DEALER!! I have a 2017 Santa Fe and have been having an oil problem for months. Did all of the oil consumption texts did the engine flush and they told me issue was fixed. It’s not fixed. Checked my oil last week and it was totally empty. Now I have to go back for them to take more pictures to send to corporate for approval. I have to leave my car overnight and they have no loaner for me. It’s been a horrible experience.

Unfortunately, we must follow the dictates for Hyundai America and your extended warranty company which means we need to follow the requirements for documentation. Your warranty does not provide for a replacement vehicle during diagnosis and we do not currently have a loaner available, but we will do all we can to complete the diagnosis as quickly as possible to expedite the process.
Their customer service department is non-responsive. I've been trying to get my vehicle serviced for two weeks but no one answers the phone. Would not do business with this dealership.
