Honestly, this was the best place that actually helped me when I was suffering the most (and my "3" star review says something about psychiatry as a whole). This was the only hospital that accepted me when I was in a complete catatonic state, and even though the doctors and psychiatrists are terrible people, the social workers were incredible. I remember a social worker named Alicia who I prayed with before leaving. I feel bad that these good social workers are forsaken to work in such a bad place, but at least these social ... read more

Do not have your loved one or yourself go to this facility. I've recently had a family member there and the entire staff is beyond incompetent. Calls were constantly not returned, and when they were the incompetent psychiatrist, social workers, and nurses would provide conflicting answers. On top of this they consistently failed to follow federal and state law by withholding details from both the patient and their family despite the appropriate ROI documents having been signed. These people are a disgrace to medicine and sho... read more

Do not bring your family to this incompetent Behavioral Health Unit. Hospital Policy over rules law and they get away with it because they manipulate the law to their favor. You have to do this in writing. Which then gives your Dr 3 Business Days to evaluate your case and make a decision. So even if you're voluntary, you're not a... read more

This is the absolute worst place. I wish I could rate it 0 stars. There is no outdoor time allowed for any of the patients or fresh air whatsoever. There is no physical activity. There is little to no direct sunlight. Deprivation of these things is proven to cause depression and makes everyone in there feel extremely anxious, claustrophobic, and more like a hamster than a person. There are no therapists, only “group therapy” in which the patients are encouraged not to talk about their feelings or situations, but to keep topi... read more
