Do not under any circumstances admit yourself or loved one to this hospital. My husband went there voluntarily Monday for psych and asked to leave on Friday and is being forced to stay there until Tuesday because they don't have staff for discharge on the weekends. He is not a danger to himself or others he never was, they have thrown him on unnecessary and strong medication which I explained to them after was not right for him because he's never been on a medication and what he's experiencing is not an ongoing problem it's ... read more
Wow I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of support I received as in inpatient. 4 or more groups per day, the group I was with really came together to support each other. Nurses are amazing, caring, thoughtful and attentive. Especially mine...Nick, Jane, and Lily. Not a place anyone wants to be, necessarily but it was very beneficial. The complete opposite of Yale's psych unit. I definately did not have Dr. Park. I had Dr. Madukwe and I thought he listened and did what I wanted to do.
the billing department is FANTASTIC at NOT calling or emailing you EVER when there’s a balance on your account. they just send you straight to collections. reception has screwed up my appointments multiple times after taking time off work to have these virtual appointments. all the psychiatrists want to do here is push pills. they put me on 4 different antidepressants and mood stabilizers at one time. they have tried prescribing at least 7 different meds in total for me. my body couldn’t handle it, i was suffering more than ... read more
