Dr. Cardin is great!
Dr Cardin was knowledgeable and direct, but uncaring. My husband was in the hospital 12 days before passing, and she never stopped by or called once. My husband askrepeatedly… “Where is my doctor?” The answer… “That group doesn’t visit people in the hospital.” How is that possible? We trusted her with his life and she didn’t care enough to check in. She chose to ignore scans clearly showing the need for a procedure that could have given us more time,. She decided that he would eventually pass from the disease, so she opted o... read more
Be very cautious before choosing this doctor for your cancer care. She spends time listening and then ignores test results. She does not reach out personally to patients. You never hear from her. She has her nurse practitioner do all her communication and allows her to make many critical decisions. The NP is not very knowledgeable and made many mistakes. The entire team simply goes through the motions and does nothing more. Nothing is explained and if you ask too many questions, you are made to feel that you are a nuisance. ... read more
Dr Cardin always took the time to listen and try to explain things, but didn’t seem to truly care. She never took the time to go outside a scheduled appointment to check in or care. She never seemed invested in helping with the disease or its progression. It was delivery of matter of fact information and send you home experience….nothing more. If you want a caring doctor, look elsewhere.
I feel Dr Cardin is not invested in truly doing everything possible to treat this cancer. She does not discuss results thoroighly, make plans or exhaust efforts to help. She allows her NP to do way too much of the work and doesn’t seem invested. When in the hospital, she never checked in or reached out at all. Very disappointed.
Dr. Cardin took care of my husband and me while he fought pancreas cancer. We all three knew we would not win the war, but we faced every battle bravely.
She certainly will not coddle you, tho she certainly does care about you
Dr Cardin Is one of the best Doctors I’ve ever met. I can’t imagine why anyone would give her a negative review and doubt the validity of such claims. Intelligent and caring- exactly what you would hope for with a cancer diagnosis.
This doctor doesn’t care at all about her patients. I wondered constantly during the 2 years that I was under her care WHY she became a medical doctor. In my experience and those of a couple of others who were under her care, she acted as if she could care less, that this was a 9-5 job that she disliked. I rarely review doctors, but I am with her, as I hope that it will stop others from having to go through the horrible experience that I went through.
