I spoke to several other dealerships about outright selling my Toyota and I received the same answer from all of them. We will take your car and pay the bank, but you’ll have to wait anywhere from 3 weeks to possibly 3 months to receive your money. Pretty much, I have to wait until they have the title. I thought i had an appointment scheduled on the computer. I drove over 130 miles to find out that I didn't have an appointment, and could not be worked in the last day of the month. So I drove home completely frustrated. I was trying to be efficient, and I didn't realize I had to get a call back to confirm the appointment. So now on, I will only call for appointments. And I definitely will not be sending credit card info by text.
