Dr. Guttmann evinced caring and dedication from my first phone conversation with him. He took time to listen carefully to me and asked good questions to ascertain an individualized approach to my shoulder problems. I felt confident going into surgery with him as my doctor, and am extremely pleased with the results. He seems to love what he does and to truly enjoy being able to help people with his considerable skills.

This was not my first interaction with Dr. Guttmann and I refrained from writing until interacting more than once. However, after my last appointment where he wore a mask below his nose and then no mask while giving his diagnosis, I felt the need to review. I found him to be egotistical and to have the audacity not to wear a mask around a patient is irresponsible and inconsiderate in this time of Covid. It is too bad there are so few shoulder doctors in the Santa Fe area.
