RecommendedWe recently moved to Reno from Arizona and I had the same vet for over 20 yrs. Our elderly dog was failing and my neighbor next door told us to take her to Dr. Baker at Damonte Ranch Animal Hospital even though it was in a different part of town. We are so glad we did because not only did Dr. Baker get us some more months with our old gal, but she also was caring, warm, empathetic, gentle and kind when we had to put her to sleep on 12/31/19. We’ve been coming to Damonte Ranch Animal Hospital and to Dr. Baker since we got our cat-son, Butters, 8 years ago. The staff is always friendly and professional and amazing with the fur-babies. Our girl Luna (border collie/lab mix) always enjoyed her visits to the vet and when we lost her last year Dr. Baker and the staff sent a lovely note to us. Dr.Baker and her entire staff are warm and welcoming at every visit. They go above and beyond to communicate and make sure you understand. Dr. Baker will call you at 9pm at night if she needs to so that she can answer your questions and you and your pet can rest easy. Sadly, the time came to make a decision on our dog, Hank. Dr. Baker and staff were kind, caring, and compassionate.
This place is wonderful. I had to have my furbaby put down a few days ago. Dr. Baker and the staff were amazing! They were so compassionate and understanding. I would highly recommend this place.
Dr. Baker and her wonderful crew, from the front desk all the way to the back, made me know I picked the right place for my Great Danes. We just moved to Reno from Texas so it can be nerve racking finding a new vet. It is surprisingly affordable and they took great care of my boy, Zeke, when we came in yesterday with injuries.
