Damon Smith knows his stuff and will use his reputation and relationship with partners to get you your house. What he won’t do is honestly read you the fine print in his contracts, and really tell you what you’re signing and getting into. He left in fine print that I would be liable to pay his 3% payment if the seller refused to pay. He proceeded to explain that the sellers do pay the 3%, but he needed backup just in case they didn’t pay. Why do I need to be liable here? Why keep this in the contract?
