I have a child with special needs. This has caused us to miss appointments at times. I have always called to try and work out getting my child seen. We had a last minute appointment given to us because someone else cancelled. Then we had an issue with the child and could not get there. When I called to explain and try to reschedule ( before the appointment was missed), the receptionist had zero professionalism and did not even seem to understand how the explanation was connected to the cancellation.
