I can’t speak to their customer service during construction because we didn’t buy new. However, after buying one of their model homes that was 4 years old, I would describe it as “lipstick on a pig.” All their finishes give you the impression the home is well built, however they are just hiding the cut corners that lie behind the drywall. When I first purchased my home from Dalton Homes July 2024, I was excited about my investment and the quality that was promised. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment when it became clear that follow-up on warranty work was not a priority for them. Great, reliable, builder
We bought our house in July of 2022 in Sanger, TX. We first started seeing problems the first few months in our home. The first problem was a water spot on our ceiling. We reached out to the home warranty company they provide and they sent someone out to assess the situation. The person said the roof was missing some flashing (we believed it was the furnace). I have had many experiences with home building companies over my life, and Dalton homes is by far the best.
