Without a doubt THE WORST BUILDER out there. Customer service is non existent Colin is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. Our house is falling apart. We should have known this was going to be bad when we did the walk through and requested all these things to be fixed before we closed and he threatened to cancel our contract. Dalton has the absolute worst customer service and if you need anything done for warranty - good luck. We bought new, turned in our list as told at month 9 and they have not fixed one item. Nobody ever calls us back and don’t even have the decency to respond. PICK ANOTHER BUILDER !
I can’t speak to their customer service during construction because we didn’t buy new. However, after buying one of their model homes that was 4 years old, I would describe it as “lipstick on a pig.” All their finishes give you the impression the home is well built, however they are just hiding the cut corners that lie behind the drywall. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment when it became clear that follow-up on warranty work was not a priority for them.
