Positive side was that no line and was called right away. I was trying to register vehicle for my customer as a Dealer when my dealership is not in Dallas County but customer who bought car lives in Dallas County. I am pretty certain that on DMV it states that Dealer can do registration either in county of where dealership us or where the customer lives. Manager didn't know about this and said that Dallas county don't do that and spoke on behalf of whole county when I am pretty sure that wrong information. I believe refreshe... read more
Typical government facility. Horrible policy. Tried to register my car 4 times and each time I needed something else. Can’t get veteran plate with a DOD government veteran ID or a Texas veteran drivers license. Bought my car in Kentucky but lived in Indiana and the bill of sale doesn’t count as sales tax being paid or the registration from Indiana. I guess I’ll reach out to the Kentucky department of buying stuff since a bill of sale in the state of Kentucky does not work?? Whoever makes these rules is degenerate.
This tax assessor and collector office will not accept out of county cross registration renewal. Even though this new law has been on the books for over 2 yrs. Not a modern and up-to-date office.
