Dr. Dale Schaefer, outside of my 2 childhood doctors, is the best doctor that I've dealt with so far. I always come with a boatload of questions which he patiently answers, not just informing but explaining. He goes above and beyond, often helping teach younger dermatologist in training. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have been pleased with Dr. Schaefer when I deal with him directly, however his staff leaves much to be desired. It has been impossible for me to speak directly to anyone in his office or to get anyone to to correct the submission of a prescription. Because of inefficiency, I am going to have no alternative, but to change dermitologists.
Dr Schaefer is an excellent dermatologist and a nice guy!
Always the most knowledgeable and kind Dr I get care from! He’s been practicing here for 20+ years and is the standard for great dermatological care in Austin and surrounding areas. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
