Dakota Lithium batteries have worked great as a replacement for lead-acid batteries in my EZGO golf cart. Tech support and warranty support were superb.
Horrible company! I ordered two batteries and chargers on June 16th. The 48v battery arrived 6weeks later with no charger and the other battery and chargers still haven’t come. It’s now August 19th. I’ve emailed them dozens of times…they reply weeks later with no information. They’ve ignored my last 6 emails. I could’ve ordered one on Amazon and actually used my golf cart this summer. I have had a 36v Dakota battery for 2 years which has failed. I have reached out to support for the last two weeks with all the information regarding the failure and non operational battery. I have not received a response. Very disappointing to spend a premium on a battery for the warranty and not receive timely warranty support.
Battery is 2 years old. Spent 4 weeks checking the battery finally got an email the battery is bad. They sent me a replacement number and they still have not shipped battery going on 8 weeks after approving the claim. Called and got voicemail said we will get back with you in 2 weeks or less. Sent two emails no response. Typical warranty over promise don’t deliver. Too expensive of battery not to have better warranty timelines. The customer service is horrible. They do not respond to emails or calls. There's no way to reach a person without going to their location in person.
