I ordered 2 lithium batteries from them back in April 2026. I was told that they would be ready by early June. It's now early July and I have not heard a single thing about the batteries. I have called and emailed this company, but have not heard anything back from them. I cannot recommend using this company
I wanted to support Dakota Lithium because of their reputation, but my experience with their customer service has been extremely disappointing. I filed a warranty claim and have now waited 15 business days without a single meaningful response. I’ve made multiple phone calls, left several voicemails, and sent emails, but no one has contacted me. This is my 4th Dakota lithium I have purchased. I've been running lithiums for about 7 years now. A few years ago I had an issue with one battery which Dakota replaced at no charge. I used to replace my bass boat batteries ever 2 years before going to Dakotas. Great customer service.
UPDATE: After posting this review i was contacted by someone from the support team who quickly resolved the issue, and seemed genuinely apologetic about the delay in responding, so out of fairness to them they did make it right in the end. Just bought a $1000 24v battery and charger last week. Charger was completely dead on arrival. So i get to experience what the customer service is like. Abysmal.
