Don't sit on the upper level against the wall directly in front of the stage. Seems counter intuitive but upper level seats on the sides of the stage have better views of the stage.

Great Jazz Great Food – I have enjoyed the food and music at the Dakota for years. Whether it is a light dinner in the bar or the full deal in the restaurant I have always been pleased. The intimate environment for jazz is awesome.
