I'm incredibly disappointed in Dakine's ability to communicate with their customers and process online purchases. In anticipation of an upcoming trip on 02/01/2020, I purchased a piece of dakine luggage on 01/21/2020. I received an immediate confirmation email that Dakine had processed my credit card and order. After 48hours without a shipping confirmation, I reached out via email asking if I needed to change my shipping from regular free to 2-day shipping at my expense. Just wanted to say, I love your stuff! My first Dakine purchase was a backpack circa 2007 for school. I really only bought it for the design- it was functional and looked great. Now, I'm no professional athlete, but I've taken this backpack with me through four years of school, then ten years worth of camping trips, vacations, and countless ski days. Bought a jacket from them in January 2017. Ripped on the first use while skiing; I had owned the jacket less than two weeks. After applying through their warranty program, my claim was denied. I even asked if they could fix the jacket for a fee and they replied no, saying I should contact a local seamstress or send my jacket to another specialized repair company called Rainy Pass.
