I thank Doctor Tanaka and all the staff that worked with him. My husband had an aorta anorysm rupture at 9pm and they worked all night to repair this and replace his valve! I am so thankful for this hospital and the staff.
Dr. Tanaka preformed open heart surgery on my Dad to repair two of his valves. My Dad is doing great, and the surgery went well. We were told by other doctors that my Dad was not a candidate for surgery, I’m so glad we ended up at Henry Ford Main where the specialists are!
Dr. Tanaka did my husbands aortic valve repair when he got septic with endocarditis. My husband would have surely died if it wasn’t for Dr. Tanaka and his team. His PA Vickey was fantastic and made sure things were done and all my husbands after care was set up. It was a long road to recovery, but he is alive and doing well and recently went back to work. Dr. Tanka is a fantastic doctor!!
