Even the drive through experience was awful. Took us at least 5 minutes to order and almost 10 minutes at the open drive through window to pay for it. The atmosphere inside and the cleanliness of the people serving us was questionable at best. The food was obviously good, it’s still Dairy Queen.
What on earth does it take for corporate to get this place in shape? Dining room closed early, 40 minutes in the drive thru. 4 teens standing around chatting and looking at their phones. One guy mopping one handed while on his phone. One guy with headset looking at his phone. One woman taking orders/ringing up/serving...got my 2 dilly bars- stopped in the parking lot to open them to find they were totally melted and fell apart. No answer on phone. This is the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. Far too often, they let customers sit through the entire drive‑through line only to say at the window that they’re out of ice cream or that the machine is “resetting.” This has been happening for years, and nothing seems to change. It’s a Dairy Queen—for goodness’ sake—they should always have ice cream available.
