RecommendedI really do like Dairy Queen. Yesterday however there were more than two cars in the drive thru (which apparently they can't handle) and I was disappointed. I asked for a burger plain with extra cheese and I got a burger that had ketchup, mustard and pickles on it which I could barely scrape off with the one napkin I was given and to top it off there was no extra cheese. I thought no biggie at least I had my blizzard but it was only halfway mixed up and was half vanilla. My fries and drink were right though.
Today I was hungry for ice cream. Drove to dairy queen, only to see the drive thru line was extremely long, so I drove past. When I came back thru town the line was even longer, extending out to the road and wrapped all the way around. I decided to join the line and wait. To my surprise, the line went decently fast for as busy as the place was. (cars still lined up to the road). my. husband ordered a jalapeno bacon burger without the jalapeno bacon he thought it wouldn't be hot but forgot that it also has jalapeno sauce and he had heartburn for 3 days I love them
Maybe I'm the exception, but in the 7 years I've lived here, the past few years the DQ quality has fluctuated greatly. My fries shouldn't be cold, literally cold, when I sit down to eat 10 minutes after going through the drive thru. The least I expect when spending $13.00 on a meal, is that it should be warm when I get home, 2 miles away. I'm sure many have had great experiences at the town DQ, unfortunately I can't say the same.
