I went there last week as a treat for my daughter. She’s 4, so I ordered a kids size dish of ice cream with M&M’s. The total was more than $3 for this! I asked at the window if that price was for a KIDS size, they said “yep”. It was already made so I paid, took it, and pulled around to look at the receipt. Horrible! How do you have no ice cream twie in 2 weeks!
An absolute terrible experience . . . Went to order a strawberry kiwi freeze and a frozen hot chocolate . . . 2 things we have been ordering in dell rapids for years. I was told they can't make them because they were not on the menu. They have never been on the menu and they have always made them. The person charge was very rude and had no time for me as he was too busy to care. I am very disappointed in the service at Dell Rapids DQ. The new facility is nice, but the poor service hasn't changed. I have found that this DQ does not offer the same prices or items as Madison or Sioux Falls. They charge extra for things other DQs don't. The food takes a long time. While I enjoyed the food, there were frequent mistakes in our orders. We have chosen to take our business elsewhere, at least for now. So tired of not getting what I paid for!! Order a lg sundae with chocolate sauce and peanuts. Got a medium and only about 6 peanuts...thats 5 cents a peanuts. Too expensive to not get what you ordered!!
