Nice park, enjoyed the hike to the backside of lake
Lots going on at Daingerfield State Park today, family reunions, late summer swims & kayaking. A very cool project, we have birders counting Harks during the fall miragration...as of 1:00 PM, their count was over 800! Flying so high, you wouldn't even notice. And tonight, we have a night glow run! If you have never been to this park...you are definitely missing out!! Willene and Paul Park Host
We absolutely loved this park. The trails were clearly marked and the swimming was perfect. We had the 6 person cabin and it was clean and we'll maintained. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful location! Love the soft pines and open space. The Lake was a little dirty, white shirt I was wearing turned brown... But nothing a shower can't take care of.
I can't say enough great things about Daingerfield State Park. The campsites are excellent, the staff is friendly and it's absolutely beautiful. I especially enjoy the hiking trails.
