I am a sushi and sashimi lover and I have been to many different places. This is the BEST sushi / sashimi place in town. It's not the cheapest but the quality is excellent. It's not a fancy place, but the atmospere is comfortable. It slso offers other cooked dishes from the kitchen as well, like black cod, teriyaki salmon, sukiyaki etc .... Watch for their special. They are offering the Copper River Scokeye salmon now. If you are a salmon lover like me, hurry, as you know, it doesn't last long!
Great sushi and great Kansai comfort food – The restaurant is under new owndership (a8 months now) and they've made a significant improvement on the quality of the food. We had some very fresh very good quality chutoro, hirmame, hotate and uni, and the rest of the fish was quite fresh and above average. We also had the Tuna Poke (excellent), an Okonomiyaki (best I've had in Seattle - far better than Tsukushinbo's e.g.), and a mixed tempura (better than many I've had).
