Been with Daily since Nov 2016, couldn't ask for a better company, leased a 4 axle from them Nov. 2017, In January I fell got hurt and in the ensuing doctor visits discovered I had kidney cancer, The Daily team has been awesome, off work for 4 months, they held my truck and postponed my payments, now back to work, no Payments til July 1 to allow me to get back on my feet. I'm going to start with daily is it a great idea and is the pay good
While we have not worked for Daily for quite a while, I would still rate the company as one of the best. During the recession Daily carried us for 7 months without payment. No insurance payments, no truck payments, no income. Don worked on the road and I went home to drive elsewhere to pay the bills. Daily kept him busy enough to keep him alive until we recovered. I was with Daily Express for a total of 22 years. Was it all roses and fine wine? Never is in the real world. I can honestly say I was always treated fairly and with the respect I earned. I kept my equipment safe, legal and in good repair and Daily kept me busy. My last quarterly revenue report indicated $5.11/mile for all miles.
Not sure what truck number it was but right outside Mt Airy NC your driver swerved over into my lane intentionally and about caused a major accident. I call your safety director and not one time did she apologize for for the actions of your driver. This happened around 4 pm on Friday 3/9/18 on US 52 north. Looked like a husband wife team.
It's okay if you can maintain truck and live on 1.61/ mile all miles. Not enough revenue to justify being away from home 3/4 wks at a time. Staff was fine but the most important thing at end of the day is the revenue. Revenue is what supports my children therefore everything can be � with out good revenue it's crap.
