it's a real decent place to rest on the trail. there's not much to look at but the bathrooms & potable water are a huge plus
Facilities opened earlier than expected, clean restrooms very clean and hot shower
Owned Maryland state park service, maintain by Greenbrier State Park . Car are campers are getting ticketed and/or towed for 2026 season. . You all were warned.
Best campground on the AT. Grab a hot shower!!!
The water and bathrooms are locked up by mid-November, even though winters are mild nowadays and it was over 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The same goes for any other plummet water along the trail, even if it's protected by a building like these bathrooms.
