Did not help because "it was not an emergency and they needed to keep the spot open in case of emergency". The clinic was empty, no one else was waiting there... What a stupid way of running a clinic instead of really carring for and helping people.
I want to sincerely thank each of the Dahl Memorial Clinic staff who tended to me on 9/16 after my confrontation with a big rock! Nicolas (who welcomed me with kindness), Bill (who graciously returned after finishing his shift just to take care of me), and the attending nurse (whose name I'm sorry to say I've forgotten). The medical staff and the front office staff were amazing at this clinic. I was on a cruise ship and, over the course of a few days, the white of my eye increasingly turned red until it was completely red. They tested my vision as well as looked at the eye. PA Bill Weiss was concerned I may have to go back to Juneau for additional care but after consulting the other doctors came to the conclusion that I had a subconjunctival hemorrhage.
