RecommendedDagwoods are honest hard working people. I've always been pleased with their work ethic and quality and my wife and family are respected and not taken advantage of, I will never go anywhere else for my auto repairs.
Took my Escape in for ABS indicator on. They ordered new sensor cable for left front wheel. When I picked up , charged for repair to connector (cheaper than original quote, so I liked that); but now had check engine light on. They said it was from gas tank purge system and that they had no way to diagnose which sensor or hose might be the cause! Said it would not harm engine or be an issue! These guys saved the day!! I had some car trouble while traveling and no shops in town were open. Called Dagwood's and they said they were just turning off the lights and locking the doors but would wait for me to get there. Not only did they wait for me to drive from the next town over, they greeted me with a smile and repaired my car thoroughly and efficiently. I would give them 100 stars if it would let me! I can't say enough words of thanks to the guys at Dagwood's Auto Repair in Clare. My alternator failed yesterday afternoon while I was on my way home from Camp Grayling to the Lansing area. I first thought it was the battery and replaced that in Harrison. But by the time I got back on the freeway the warning light was on again.
