Best Pizza and salads – I love this place!!!! Their salads are awesome!!!! They are my favorite. Their pizza is to die for. I love their chix ceasar salad and their chix mediterranean salad. The service is great. They are soooo friendly.
I love this place! – I moved to Santa Monica 9 months ago. I've become addicted to this place! They're nice, super-clean and the food is completely fresh. They're also super fast. Most importantly, they deliver! At lightning pace! I can't eat dairy, so my review's a bit skewed. I order pizza there, and they'll do it with no cheese, and that's awesome, but I'm addicted to their hot chicken sub! It's like 8-9 bucks, but worth EVERY penny. Ordering's seamless once they have your info on file, so go eat!
Great Pizza – The pizza at Dagwoods is the closest to NYC pizza you will find in Santa Monica . . . for the money it is a great value.
poor service – The food is great but it does not makeup for the horrible service.
Tony Soprano's kind of pizza – As a guy from SopranoLand (No. NJ) I declare Dagwood's Wilshire SM the closest to homeland pizza (or tomato pie, as it was called in my youth) in L.A. The test is the simple cheese pizza. Key is the top-quality whole milk cheese and the taste and flex of the crust. Key is chilling dough overnight.
