Great bar with a casual vibe. Phil is on top of every detail. Great food and amazing drinks. Super friendly staff. Kinda comfy like walking into a cheers episode. Watching how detailed phil is and how diligent he is in teaching his staff is pretty amazing.

What a great place! Alex at the bar took great care of me, especially when I told him I came from Rochester, NY just to try "The Plate"... Went with two cheeseburgs & skipped the mac salad. OMG the "hot" sauce was awesome... Got a chance to meet Phil the owner at the end of my visit. Great guy.... great place.... Will be a regular stop on future trips to the big Apple. 5 out of 5 stars!
This is a quintessential, old school Manhattan bar in NYC. A block off of the best street in New York (Carmine Street), this is the type of place that can make you any drink, at any time, quickly and at a fair price.
