Built into the side of a butte this very iconic beautiful spot is conveniently located has nice rooms and friendly staff.
Interstate noise kept me awake. Needed the a/c fan on to mask the car noise all night roaring by. Dinner in Top of the Rock was great & climbing nearby was spectacular views
The good things about this resort: Room was nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and very willing to assist when necessary. Lovely pool, staff regularly walked by to check if we would like to order drinks. On the downside: For the shower I would suggest shower gel, conditioner and shampoo without irritants such as citrus, eucalyptus, nutmeg, etc. For such an expensive resort I'd expect better. I struggled with this review. The Buttes has so much potential and it suffers from a lack of leadership. The rooms need a refresh especially the bathrooms, the pools need additional staffing. The pool bartender is great, there was not enough staff to provide service to everyone at the pools. The slide was not open unless you called to request it to be opened and the attitude about opening it wasn't great.
