The food was decent. However, when I asked to substitute a protein the answer was an emphatic no. Not alternative option like paying for an extra side just, no. The drink I received was bland and watered down. Then to make matters worse. I decided to order a side of short ribs since I was not allowed to substitute a meat. Such a unique and personal experience. All of the staff was so cheerful and attentive. We were offered samples of the meat choices so that we would have exactly the flavor palette that we wanted and were brought out samples of the chef's newest creations for our thoughts as well. The ambiance made me forget that I was in Tacoma on a sunny spring evening, which was PERFECTLY what I wanted.
