I was a patient of Dr Hester. He is great! This review is of the clinic itself. I called today to make an appointment because of a few moles that do not look right to me. I was informed that I can not see Dr. Hester again because it had been over 3 years since my last visit and that he is not accepting new patients. That is understandable. WHAT ISN'T THOUGH IS THEY NEVER SENT OUT A "YOU ARE DUE FOR AN APPOINTMENT" REMINDER, and they admitted they should have. We’re 20-30 minutes late for the appointment and I had to alert my work that was going to be late to getting back because they were so late. Then they proceeded to spend only about 15-20 minutes with me for and gave me a very ridiculous solution for that I just need to increase a dose of an oral medication to see better skin results. Everything felt very rushed and not worth my time or money. I found them based on their positive reviews but unfortunately that was not my experience. I’ll be finding a different Derm.
Update. Unfortunately, I had my first minor surgical procedure on Monday, and felt pretty good when I left. By Wednesday morning it very swollen and sore. I called the office and was told to come in the next day. I'm over 70, got lost and upset using the GPS, arrived in tears and was told by TANYA at the front desk that because I arrived 12 minutes late they were too busy to even let me sit in the lobby and wait for a nurse to check me. I have been going here for over 15 years. So disappointed today. I prechecked in and was there 15 minutes prior. 22 minutes late, the assist leads me back. I have had melanoma and had 3 spots I was concerned about, head and 2 on my leg. The assistant said there was no PCP on my chart, I kept saying excuse me? PCP, PCP, she talked down to me and spoke very fast. Finally, she said personal care provider, and just stared until I told her who my PCP was. She then threw me a gown and left.
