These folks are nice, listen , and don’t rush you.
First off, the staff is great. Physician’s Assistant, super kind and caring. Dr DuBose and his Nurse Practitioner however, not so much. They immediately started treating me like I was dishonest and a drug seeker. Too worried about his reputation to even listen to a patient. He completely dismissed me and my pain after speaking with me for 5 minutes. Never even asked to send me for imaging. He just assumed I was a drug seeker. I visited this practice as a new patient and was seen by a nurse practitioner. I explained my pain history and requested a refill for a long-standing prescription, but was dismissed without any explanation of next steps or a treatment plan. An injection was recommended, yet something as routine as a prescription refill wasn’t accommodated, nor did anyone take the time to explain their process, expectations, or potential treatment plan to a new patient.
