This company is a rip off!!! Slumlord but will keep your deposit and add to the final bill. It's aweful what they do to seniors.
I had a near fatal accident in August of 2017 and after being in ICU for 1 month and inpatient therapy for another month, the hospital said I had to find a place to live that was wheelchair accessible and the bathroom & shower was suitable for my needs. The only place I could find is DThompson Reality within my budget. During winter time, they would not clean the handicap parking even though I was in a wheelchair and eventually crutches because I had to learn how to walk again. I have rented from D Thompson Realty since 2007 and currently residing as of now 2017, which I have been looking for the past 5 years to find a decent property to rent ,which is why I'm still dwelling in the house that i'm in now,and hopefully within the next couple of weeks I can finally be of relief from D Thompson Realty. To a logical person this does not make sense. If a person is so unhappy with a house, or a management company, is it going to take you five years to find another place to live. I think not unless the people you are contacting to rent from can detect your negative attitude and your feeling that you are entitled to live off the government. It is not the personnel in the office that are rude.
